NextGeneration Innovation Event: Beyond the Horizon

Jeff Maxted, Director of Technical Consultancy at BLP, has been invited to present to members at the NextGeneration Innovation Event entitled 'Beyond the Horizon' on Wednesday 20 July.

As part of the aim to get people thinking beyond the horizon when it comes to sustainability and homebuilding, the winner of the NextGeneration Innovation Award 2016 will be announced, followed up with talks by other leading innovators.

In addition to Jeff Maxted (BLP), the following speakers have been confirmed:

Tessy Britton, co-founder of Participatory City, who focus on the creation of community networks as a way of promoting equality, wellbeing and sustainability in new and existing neighbourhoods.

Alistair Parvin, director at the Wiki-House Foundation, which promotes an open source building system that makes it simple for everyone to design, print and assemble customised, low-energy homes.


To provide a broader platform for NextGeneration and its members, the presentation and talks will be open to the wider industry. This will be followed by an exclusive members' lunch with the speakers.
