BLP launched its first major marketing campaign last year with the memorable image by De La Croix of Liberty leading the People – this year that campaign has been updated with even bolder, innovative images including familiar faces from some well known construction and allied professional companies.

On a rain sodden Friday at the Ascot offices of TC Communications - BLP’s ad agency - BLP staff and some of their most patient customers stood, posed, smiled, moved 12 inches left and half a pace forward and then looked up, looked right or left to create the new BLP advert image. 

Kim Vernau, BLP’s Chief Executive Officer, said: “Last year’s campaign created a real impact and strong brand presence for BLP, and aligned with our objective of bringing an alternative insurance solution to the market. It was also very successful in raising awareness and bringing in new enquiries but we knew that this year, to keep the adverts fresh and impactful, we needed to develop the imagery further. This solution fits the brief perfectly.”

Kim adds: “We are very grateful to our clients who gamely agreed to spend their Friday afternoon with us on the photoshoot and for being so patient with the photographer’s quest for the perfect shot. Not even the rain, cold wind or hail dinted our “models’” enthusiasm and we are all looking forward to seeing the final images.”

The new campaign launches across various magazine titles in May and will feature press and online adverts with links to a microsite and the models’ websites.
